When the body of her fiancé turns up, shot at the back of his head indicating that he did not struggle but let it happen, Jasmine ("Jazz"), who is of mixed race vows to find his killer at the cost of her life.

By going up against KUSH, a corrupt police officer who is obsessed with her, and a whole lot of people who are convinced that his death is for the better, she has to come face to face with the reality that ZEAL, the man she loved led a double and dangerous life.

By having to deal with the fact that she really did not know anything about him, JAZZ comes face to face with her own painful past and memories, of the life she had to lose to build the one she thought she could with him.

As JAZZ gets to find out more and more of ZEAL's life, she meets up with SILK and her brother SHEBE.

What is their involvement in ZEAL's double life?

What exactly the twisted relationship between brother and sister?

What is ZEAL's involvement with a certain mental institution is?
Who really killed ZEAL? Was it a case of revenge, jealousy or something more complex.

This story brings out how far one can go for the person they love, and the fact that the dark secrets we sometimes keep in our closets cannot stay hidden forever.
