Born in Dakar (Senegal), Abdoulaye SOW entered the Department of Modern Letters at Dakar Cheikh Anta Diop University (UCAD) After three years of computer training, he began writing five-minute comedy stories.

In 2016, he did his first stage of Film direction in the short film "A place in the plane" by Khadidiatou Sow (his little sister) produced by CINEKAP. That same year, his short film project "Kipou" was selected for the Upcourts Shorts training program initiated by CINEKAP. In 2017, he attended a "Scénario pour tous" training workshop for eight days to deepen his knowledge of scriptwriting.
He directed KIPOU (one of the six projects selected under the Upcourts programme - Promotion Nour Eddine SAIL 2019-2020), produced by CINEKAP and New Direction (Benin, in Associated Production).
