Moroccan film director and scriptwriter.

Born in September 14, 1978 in Morocco, Ali El Mejboud decides to study law in Paris at Varenne Chennevières Faculty, from 1998 to 2000. He then joins the École Supérieure des Études Cinématographiques (E.S.E.C.) of Paris. In his first shorts, his artistic potential is clear for all to see. He made his first TV films, "La Vague Blanche" and "El Guerrab", conceived with Film Industry and produced by Nabil Ayouch. Between 2009 and 2012, he created and co-directed the series "Une heure en enfer" (5 seasons) which was very successful. "Dallas" (2014) is his first fictional feature film.
