After the successful edition of 2009 saluted by all, and the participation of more than 17 000 festival goers, the Festival on the Niger once again opens the doors of Ségou with:THE SIXTH EDITION: To 03thrd at February 07 th 2010 in Ségou.

Rich of its past and open to the world, Ségou, land of culture, will become during 5 days the scene of a multidisciplinary festival, where arts and people will meet.

Theme of the Forum : "Culture and Governance" February 29 th, in the city hall of Segou

Spectacles: traditional shows from the region (music, dances, masks, traditional puppets, traditional hunters' spectacle, pirogue race…. Tales and legends of Mali ; Giants concerts with stars of Mali and West Africa who perform on the Niger river: Salif keita, Baba Maal, Habib koite, Nahawa Doumbia….. and another.
