When Modou, a young migrant from Africa, returns home after five years of living illegally in Europe, he is haunted by the trauma of his journey.
GIFTS FROM BABYLON is a short film that explores the psychological impact of migration through the eyes of a young Gambian. The film captures the character's internal struggles as well as his readjustment to his birth environment.
