Chantal Richard is a screenwriter and director; she was born in France in 1957.
Chantal Richard studied at the Institut Des Hautes Études Cinématographiques (I.D.H.E.C.). She has made a number of films, such as "Un jour je repartirai" (2003), "Charles Peguy au lavomatic" (1997), "Luis et Margot" (1997), "Paroles" (1995), "Nativité" (1990), and "Tupik" (1987). "Lili et le baobab" (2006) is her first feature film after several shorts and documentaries.
