Phillip was born in Kampala in 1988. After his studies of Fine and Industrial Art he graduated from Uganda Christian University, Mukono with a bachelor degree in 2011. At present he enjoys watercolours as a media and he participated in group shows in Nommo Gallery, Tulifanya Gallery, AKA Gallery in 2012, AKA Gallery in 2013 and AKA Gallery Houdek was born 1969 in Washington, DC a practicing architect based in Kampala who has lived on and off in Uganda since 1985, an enthusiast of painting and water color, this is his first foray into sculpture as well as his first public exhibition. Finding inspiration from the strong organic shapes found in gourds, he works with lights, color and glass to transform each gourd into functional lamp-art creations he has participated in a Two man's show at AKA Gallery 2013.
