دور القصة حول سامية، إمرأة شابة تنشغل في أعمالها المنزلية اليومية، يسحرها الضوء القادم عبر النافذة. في كل مرة تحاول فيها الوصول إلى هذا الضوء ينادي عليها أحد أعضاء أسرتها حتى تلبي له احتياجاته.
