Algunos cineastas y actores evocan la difícil situación del cine africano y hablan de su resistencia frente a los prejuicios, la carencia de apoyos en sus propios países y de la presión de ciertos productores europeos que pretenden hacer del cine africano un cine financiado pero cada vez más desculturizado.



Filmed during the 17th Fespaco (Panafrican film an television festival of Ouagadougou), filmmakers and actors speak of the difficult situation facing African cinema, and bear witness to their resistance to prejudice, to the lack of support in their own countries, as well as to the pressure from certain European producers who are increasingly making African cinema better financed but less independent culturally.
