Teboho Edkins was born in the USA in 1980 and grew up mainly in Lesotho, but also Germany, South Africa and France. He studied Fine Art at the University of Cape Town, followed by a 2-year post-graduate residency at le Fresnoy, studio national des arts contemporains in France and then the post-graduate film directing programme at the dffb film academy in Berlin. He now lives in Berlin. Er studierte freie Kunst an der Universität von Kapstadt, gefolgt von einer 2 Jahre post gradualen Residence an Le Fresnoy, Studio National des Arts Contemporains in Frankreich und ist jetzt Post Graduierter Student an der dffb in Berlin.
