The festival centre is located in the beautiful stone town area in Zanzibar. The main location of the festival is an atmospheric Amphitheatre located inside an Old Fort. Other venues are Mambo Club, Forodhani Garden, House of Wonders, Old Customs House, Palace Museum, the Barge at the Old fort Waterfront, Aecrotanal, Chake Chake and Wete Cinema in Pemba.
