My Joburg at La Maison Rouge continues the series of exhibitions focusing on arts practice in non-capital cities around the world. After My Winnipeg (Canada), an exhibition presented in 2011, the second of the cities will be Johannesburg. The exhibition runs as part of the France - South Africa Seasons 2012/1013.
Within this exhibition is My Joburg: Short Change, a photography exhibition of work by students and alumni of the Market Photo Workshop. The works on exhibition are all explorations of the dynamism and ever shifting landscape that contemporary photography and society posits for young photographers in Johannesburg today.
