In 2009, the second Alger panafrican Festival brings us in the heart of the vitality of Africa that is questioning itself, makes doubts, engages, reflects, celebrates, protests, affirms by itself and for itself, by the voice of Abderrahmane Sissako, Danny Giover, Manthia Diawara, Jihane Al Tahri, Aminata Traoré, André Brink and others … and with them, the 8500 artists and African intellectuals and the numerous Algerian public, that spent together an African summer in Alger.
