Inspired by Esther's Bible story, the movie tells the story of how Esther becomes a Queen of Susah. Esther is brought up by her uncle Mordocai after the death of her parents. They move from Jerusalem to Susah. Mordocai gets a job in the King's palace as a gate keeper and learns about the King's search for virgin girls to select a queen. Mordocai pushes Esther to the palace among the virgin girls and finally selected to be queen.
