In this touching tale, a young schoolgirl named Mahi falls in love with an Afghan immigrant named Heiran. But Mahi's family opposes the union and the two are forced to elope. But Iran is a dangerous place for illegal refugees, and Heiran disappears, leaving Mahi with a child, and all alone.

HEIRAN is a moving account of one man's struggle which echoes the narratives of both the three million Afghani illegal workers in Iran and similar situations all over the globe. Above all, this is a beautiful and memorable love story.
