When Chuks arrives in Joburg with the hope of changing his life for the better, little does he know that he will soon be riding a wave of drugs, love and betrayal. Amid the bustle of downtown Jozi, he is sucked into an underworld where only the strong survive.
JOZI KINGS is a portrait of a group of people involved in a wide range of criminal activity, but more than anything, it is a film about staying sane in an insane world. The film shows the real Johannesburg, revealing the beauty as well as the grit and grime of one of the world's most mythologised cities.
