Edirisa Museum - Uganda

Edirisa is a society for promoting Africa, creativity, cultures and practical skills. This international and unreligious organisation is based in Uganda.

Promotion of Africa is important because of the negative image this wonderful continent has around the globe. Creativity is suppressed at Ugandan schools, and Edirisa is here to fight this reality. Cultures is purposely written in plural, as we try to learn from different world cultures and build an African culture which is respectful to tradition and enriched by positive elements from elsewhere.
