Sword Entertainment Incorporated (SEI), a limited liability corporation based in Kampala, Uganda, engaged in the business of production and distribution of cinematic content for audiences worldwide.
Uganda has a vibrant, emerging film industry that is growing in reputation and is competitive internationally. Local and foreign filmmakers are taking advantage of the country's diverse, unique locations – as well as low production costs and favourable exchange rates, which make it cheaper to make a movie here than anywhere else outside of Africa. Consequently, Uganda's film industry represents an attractive opportunity for prospective film investments. Sword Entertainment Inc. (SEI) seeks to leverage this landslide of opportunities to tell Africa's untold stories through film.

SEI is building a film portfolio that addresses audience needs through a diversity of packages that include, but not limited to; documentaries, television drama series, feature films, etc.

The mission of Sword Entertainment Inc. is to be a leading player in the exploration of the potential of the African story in all its wealth and diversity and use it to reach out to a worldwide audience using cutting-edge production and distribution strategies.
Sword Entertainment operates a production arm called Coronation Pictures. It works with some of the finest of East Africa's film and television personnel to produce the untold African stories.

International Co-productions

Africa is a well-known treasure trove of stories that bear potentially cutting-edge audience thrill. This potential has, since time immemorial, been undercut by poor production capabilities, lack of funds, poor film infrastructure, among other bottlenecks. Moreover, Africa has for so long been referred to as "the dark content" by the Western world and many fallacies about the same still abound. We would like to dispel the erroneous notions about the continent by using the powerful tool of film to create a window for the world to know and enjoy Africa from a distance. It is against this background that we seek to engage in international co-production works with established producers around the world to make the best these infinite opportunities that have the potential to take the world by storm. We therefore welcome co-financing ventures with interested parties around the world.
