TV West is a brain child of Vision Group, Uganda's leading media House. TV West is located in Mbarara, Uganda's fastest growing town in the western region. It broadcasts in the local Runyakitara (Runyankole, Rukiga Rutooro). Its mission is to inform, educate and entertain. It also has a strong relationship with Radio West and broadcasts to Bushenyi, Kasese, Isingiro, Ibanda, Kabale and Lyantonde districts. TV West supports local content and has a penchant for locally produced films rendered in Runyakitara.
