In 2013, Geofrey Kawesi aka Kipaku started cutting his teeth in the film business in Uganda first as an actor –cum-director. In his acting role, he has been cast in a number of productions such as: Mr. Victor The Doctor (2013) by Nuume Robert; Inspector (2013) by Joe Nakibinge; Akamuli 2013 by Joe Nakibinge; Vanessa the City Girl2013 by Joe Nakibinge; Kalidalu-My daughter by Joe Nakibinge (2014); Single and Searching (2015 coming  out in May); Sineema Muliro by Conrad Yiga (2015); Ku Muduuma, a TV series by director Joe Nakibinge (2014).
Geofrey is also part of works in progress that will be released in the course of 2015, which include: Omuzira mu Bazira directed by Kabali Jagen Pa; Extra Time by Yusuf Kinene; Sweet Enemy by Yusuf Kinene and Take Me Home by Hassan Mageye.
