Gilbert Pario has been around the film industry longer most contemporary Ugandans. He has working in the film exhibition since 2002 when he was hired to be a projectionist with Ndere Troupe. In 2004 he joined Amakula Kampala International Film Festival where he was head of technical department, working in the technical department for nine years. He has worked with nearly every film festival in Uganda from Maisha Film Festival to Native Travel Film Festival.
