HENRY OPIO (OPOLOT)

Henry began acting career in 2008 with the role of Police man in " Down this Road I walk" By Mariam Ndagire. Over the years he has acted in a number of Film productions like: Flute 2009, Stone Cold 2009, Fruits of Love 2010, Tricksters 2010, One Glorius Day 2011. He also does sound design. In 2012 Henry' s first appearance on stage wa with Silent Voices a play written by Adong Judith Lucy where acted as Guard. He has worked as Producer for Chicken house Production, Sound Recordist for The Superstition by The Gondaliya Brothers Motion Pictures to mention but a few.
He is a multi-skilled team person with an eye on quality and timely delivery. He works under minimum supervision and a go-getter. He likes to apply skills one at a time so as to give his best results.


His skills include:
1. Story development and screen writing.
Where he makes sure his stories are to the best entertaining, informative but also informed in order to relate with his audience.
2. Production Management.
As production manager, he ensure that
- all departments of production are well staffed, equipped and facilitated
-flow of finances is checked by negotiating purchases, hires and bookings and making sure each transaction is receipted for purposes of accountability and transparency.
3. Sound mixing, recording, boom swinging and sound assist.
It's his duty to ensure that
- sound is mixed and recorded in correct audio levels and settings
- microphones hang just in the right positions
- cables and connections are done correctly.
4. Warehouse Master.
Where he ensures that
- warehouse and equipment are kept clean and safe
- inventory of all equipment in the warehouse is available
- records of equipment out and equipment in are kept for each day
- damages on equipment are reported.
5. Props Master/Assistant.
As a props person, he purchases and safely keeps all props needed and makes them available when and where needed.
6. Crew fixing.
Because he cares about quality and time he can be sure to fix the right people.
