Rosemary Atim is a Ugandan freelance dancer , choreographer who started by performing at school presentations while still in primary school, actively involved in traditional dances, she continued to grow as she joined secondary school where she continued to perform at school functions for example women's day celebrations among others at St. Lawrence citizens high school- Horizon Campus . Through inspiration from the then popular dance troupe the obsessions, rosemary begun to explore other dance styles. More inspiration from watching dance movies and dance videos, rosemary auditioned for NTV hot steps dance competition season 1 2008 giving her more exposure, where she emerged as the 1st runner up.
Since then the sky is the limit for this talented dancer, she has worked with Top Ugandan artists such as NAVIO, THE OBSESSIONS, BLU*3 , NAAVA, JACKIE CHANDIRU, PETER MILES as a dancer and choreographer. She also featured in the MIRINDA TV commercial for Pepsi drink MIRINDA 2011 . She is also a dancer with the TABU FLO DANCE COMPANY and has also worked with the I.O.M – International Organization for Migration as a traditional/ hip hop dance workshop facilitator in Karamoja region northeast of Uganda.
Rosemary does hip hop, dancehall, African contemporary, afro beat , Waacking,Vogue, house dance styles. Dances without purpose have false starts and stops so she uses her talent to motivate, change society positively, inspire youths especially the girl child to reach for their goals and ambitions.
Rosemary Atim is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Dance at Makerere University.
