Samir Abdallah, born in 1959 of an Egyptian father and Danish mother, has lived in France from the age of six, where he became a French citizen. He has directed numerous documentaries.
He is a coordinator for an international network of documentary films and founded "Open Eyes", which organizes neighborhood workshops.
