We are pleased to have six filmmakers in attendance at Africa in Motion 2009.

South African filmmaker Esdon Frost will be present at the screening of his anti-apartheid short Notice to Quit!.

Ingrid Sinclair will take part in a discussion after the screening of her award-winning Zimbabwean feature film Flame.

Algerian director Amor Hakkar will be present at the screening of his feature La Maison Jaune, and is also chairing the jury for our Short Film Competition.

Prof Alessandro Triulzi will take part in a discussion after the screening of Like a Man on Earth, and is also giving a seminar on the research context of the film.

Tanzanian journalist and filmmaker Lekoko Piniel Ole Levila will be present at the screening of his documentary Mwalimu: The Legacy of Julius Kambarage Nyerere.

Finally, Kenyan director Wanuri Kahiu will introduce her highly acclaimed feature film From a Whisper on the last day of the festival.
