The main exihibition of Noorderlicht 2005 is about photography which goes beyond the transience of the moment - photography that can be read as a record of the time in which it was made, but by the same token suggests a story of another time, past or to come.
Traces & Omens (working title) searches for the story that surrounds the moment recorded; reflective photographs in which traces of the past penetrate the present, and photographs that appear to speak with a voice of prophecy, or possibly will do so.
