Il a participé à plusieurs films documentaires relatant la vie du camp de Yarmouk, notamment en étant l'un des cameramen de 194. Us, Children of the Camps. Le magazine allemand Peace Green l'a identifié comme l'un des Peacemakers de 2014. En Suède, il a reçu le Per Anger Human Rights Award en 2016.
